I totally disagree with this old review. My partner and I have been customers at Danal for a few years now, and we befriended the owner. No matter what time you go, the service is impeccable in my opinion, and I do travel a lot `to all continents and have lots of experience` as well. The wine list is great, the food is above many restaurants in NY, and the attention to detail is a constant in this charming little spot. If you are a true Newyorker, you know about hidden places like this unknown to tourists, out of towners and suburban groups looking for a deal in the city. It's not inexpensive, but every time we go we leave juicy tips, we always get excellent treatment there.- Is follow up to post by tsiegel ...
This place has a history of abusing its customers (and staff) especially the bitter, little "princess" who owns the place.....I personally witnessed him being verbally abusive to customers..... -- 1/6/2006 3:09:17 PM
