You are absolutely correct. My husband and I used to go there when we were dating and returned last year to celebrate an anniversary. We were soooo disappointed. Service stunk and the steak, OMG. First of all, my husband is a butcher and we used to own Tony's Market in Elm Park. Not only was I overwhelmed by the steak that covered my plate completly and was about 6` thick, but I really looked forward to savoring this thing.....It was gross; tough, and aged a little too long....I like my meat to `MOO` but this thing was never slaughtered...When it was returned to the kitchen and came back it didn't moo any longer but was still inedible. Too bad the restaurant owner dosen't read these blogs, maybe he would then return this restaurant to it's once magnificent splender.- Is follow up to post by nkj25 ...
recently went to the west shore..sat at the bar and had a nice stake, it was cooked just as i asked and the bartender was nice as can be..ill be back. -- 6/26/2007 10:22:59 AM
