A very ordinary dining experience, I'm sorry to say. The worse part was my order for escargot, an item I always look forward to eating when it appears on a menu. In my case the snails were buried so deeply in the shell I could not extract them. I asked the waiter to take them to the kitchen where, I assumed, the shells would be cracked. Instead someone apparently steamed them out of their shells and took every last bit of seasoning and flavor in the process. `Naked` snails are in the same category as unseasoned squid and tripe. Tasteless. The rest of the meal was downhill and unexceptional.
