I went to the Oyster Bar with my family(Wife and child). The night started out good, first our coats were taken at the door, then we were seated. The meals here were priced reasonably higher than other places in town, but we were looking for higher quality food, so the price should be worth it. We ordered an appetizer and the appearance was great, along with the taste. After a while we received our soups, once again we were pleasantly amused. This however, was where the figurative ball was dropped. Our main entrees came. My daughter had gotten a simple grilled cheese sandwich, and it was by far the worst grilled cheese I have ever tasted. My wife got a raspberry chicken meal which tasted pretty good, and I got the most expensive steak on the menu, a 12 oz filet minion for 35 dollars. My filet was tough, probably on the order of something that you would find at a budget steak house. A couple months prior, I had gotten a 30 oz filet at the Texas Roadhouse, and it cut like butter. I can only say that this place has no sense when it came to steak. We payed the bill, above a hundred dollars for the three of us. On our way out, there was no one asking how our service was. There was no one to offer our coats back. So we walked over to get our coats. Mine and my daughter's coats were hung up, but my wife's brand new hundred dollar coat was on the floor. I was not impressed by this place, especially after the manager was walking around asking how people were doing and skipping our table because we weren't dressed as nicely as the rest of the people.
