The food was good. I had the Italian sausage parmasan sandwich. It would have been difficult to improve on. The thin crust pizza was also above average, but not up to brick oven standards. My complaint is that the service was poor. I arrived a little late and came to the table just as the waiter was handing out menus. I know he saw me arrive and sit down because we nearly tripped over each other. But he never offered me a menu. No problem, I shared. Next I noticed several pieces of silverware at my place and at those of the people sitting near me which had dried bits of food stuck to them. When the waiter came to take our order, I mentioned the silverware problem and he muttered a lame apology and disappeared with the silverware. He evidently then forgot all about taking our order and ignored us for the next ten minutes. He was waiting on other tables and even spent time setting a table. Finally we had to call to him to get him to come and take our order. Also, we had to make multiple requests for bread which we wanted to help pacify the two children who were with us and were being remarkably patient with the slow rate of service. The dirty silverware was never replaced. - Is follow up to post by zacata23 ...
