I have been going to Gojo since 1980 when I was a freshman in college. It hasn't changed since then. Nor has it been cleaned. It is dingy, dank, and that same nauseating sewer stench greets you as you enter the vestibule. That said, the food is WONDERFUL! And you get a huge amount of it for your dollar. I don't think they've raised their prices for the past 10 years [And yes, they are serving the same menu they did in 1980]. Granted, I have to agree with another reviewer that the chefs don't interact as much with the patrons as they once did, but often times that has as much to do with who is sitting at your table as it does who is cooking it. Like any live performer, the chef has to gage his audience to see what they are in the mood for. Some tables are lively, some not. Regardless, I recommend going to Gojo at least once, just to experience it. You might find you like it, despite it's idiosyncrasies.
