We went tonight, the 30 th of August for our Anniversary and it was a long bumpy road to get there, the place was a nice place to look at. We were greeted and seated and we were the only ones there (they asked for reservations) We did get there right when it opened though. We got crackers and butter with water and the glasses were all set out on the tables open top up (i wonder how long they set like this) anyway, then we ordered and the salads were not part of the meal, had to order seperate and it was 5 for side salad or 7 for caesar. the meals were not under 18 (i don't think) and there was only like 5 or 6 choices! the salad was good (with only 3 dressing choices) another couple came in and even though it was a HUGE place.... they sat them right by us (knowing it was our anniversary) wouldn't folks want to be more alone???????? anyway, there was a musty, old smell but i like that as far as for a haunted, old house... but you couldn't really smell food... the wait after the salads was FOREVER and then we ate... she asked if we wanted their `house steak sauce` HAHAHA it was A1 and worstershire mixed and heated!!!! the house was neat and the staircase and huge fireplace was neat... probably won't go back unless it is a few years from now. 2 of us and tea and what i mentioned to eat and no alcoholic drinks... 77 bucks. (no dessert) oh. they did give us bread with the meal and later 1 cupcake with a candle to share... awwwwwwwwww the legend of the haunted house is printed on the back of the menu... i felt hurried to read it because she wanted her menu back... anyway, it's cool for an eve. out and the house was neat... oh, we got there at 6 and didn't get out (finished) til 730
