It would seem that you have more problems than the Quarterdeck. You should go to that Gulag; I'm sure you would find people who you would have more in common with. As for your date being out with a looser like yourself; I’m sure she will be back while you are at the Gulag. Some guys are always blaming someone else for their problems. Not only does the Quarterdeck have great food; they also have some of the nicest staff you will find anywhere. You seem to have anger problems and it is absurd to believe some of your allegations.- Is follow up to post by zhaibar ...

The other evening my date & I wanted to try out a small out of the way eatery. We found the Quarterdeck in Arlington VA.
What an experience this turned out to be. Our first mistake was to enter the place. Our second was to sit at the bar. The F word was used in place of Hello.
Patrons insulting one another is as common place as the shots & beers they were drinking. Ethic humor was told as often as sexual jokes and degrading comments towards women & other minorities (especially the mental retarded was very common).
Any woman who was not escorted when passing the bar would be casted upon with all types of comments & lustful looks.
As to the food and service. A finer meal could have been had in a Russian Gulag. If you enjoy smoke filled rooms, deep fried table cloths, poor use of language and less than clean dinning areasZ this is the place for you. Good Luck !!!!
Needless to say we did not stay very long. We paid our bill even before the meal arrived (If you call what they serve food).
