Is this the most inconsiderate customer you have ever heard of or is she just cheap. Lady gets control of your children. Writing a review about a restaurant is serious. For every rating they receive it changes the rating overall. Do you understand that the seats your two children were taking up cost the restaurant 2 food tickets? Have you never stop to consider what the restaurants go through just to keep their doors open. Do you know the price of cheese is costing the average pizza restaurant an extra $500.00 a month? Do you think all the increases in food and are showing up on the menu prices. Next time you take your children out to eat, go to Sonic where you can take your little picky eaters and not cost the restaurant money. Do you know that the Restaurant Industry is the largest employer in the United States? They are taxed for everything, inspected, permits for everything; People steal from them from the employees to credit card fraud. They had to deal with people with attitudes and people who are rude. They come in early and stay late. They help the community and loan money to their employees. Restaurants owners work harder than any other industry I know. So the time you want to show your muscle why don't show your children who the parent is.- Is follow up to post by kayven ...
Villa Nova has good prices, decent food and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, they have a rather strict policy when it comes to bringing food with you to feed your children. In other words, don't! You'll be asked to leave the establishment or, they will considerately offer, you can destroy the food and stay. All completely within their rights as a business and a very understandable policy in regards to their adult clientele who should know better, but for those parents out there with picky eaters 6 years and younger, you may want to pick a different location for your family-friendly dining experience. Singles and couples-only, however, should enjoy the decreased crowding and the fewer young children causing disruptions. More flexibility and compassionate understanding for the needs of families would go a long way towards making this "family" restaurant a destination for families with younger children. -- 4/11/2007 9:43:19 AM
