Hi David- I /we have been going to Panchito's for 30 years. It was the first Mexican restaurant that we visited when we moved to the Big Apple. It still reflects the Old Greenwich Village and was once a Folk Music venue. Sit in the front and the view to the street action is great. Consistent food and drinks. Manager owns the building. Me and my friends from England visited NYC and ate dinner at Panchito's. Food - excellent. Service - friendly and "just fast enough", not rushed or frantic. Atmosphere - convivial (does anyone talk like this for real?) and the prices were exceptionally modest for the amount of food we got. We will be back. -- 6/12/2002 1:16:26 PM
