I found the food to be of average quality--good but nothing to intentionally wait for longer than 20 minutes. The service here is about a C- they only seemend moderately concerned that we got wat we wanted when we wanted it. The coctails were passable except that nobody in Illinois can make a decent Old Fashion. I really wanted to fall in love with this place given the rave reviews I had heard. It has the neighborhood charm and a local feel but the intense clausterphobia of a busy night did not help what I thought was mediocre food. Perhaps this is a place that is so famous and overrated it doesnt actually have to work for the accolades--more chumps will come in tommorow.
