Kathleen has the best potato salad in town. There's a roast beef sandwich on a croissant with cucumbers the like of which I can't get anywhere else. I like her Cobb salad and the omelets are as good as you get in Pasadena. Portions are at least adequate and they are very flexible about substitutions and special preparation. The staff are helpful and friendly, but not too friendly. The only negative is the decor. It's cold gray, drear and depressing.
