this place is absolutely awful. it's overpriced, the service is slow and the batenders are rude. it's full of loudmouthed drunks, sweaty construction workers and groups of guys who make catcalls at every girl that passes by. numerous people i work with have told me it's ok for drinks, but not for dinner and don't even think of taking a date there. from what i could see, people go to sit in the rooftop lounge, but prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to get a drink and, even though there is no music playing, you won't be able to have a conversation over all the yelling and cursing of the aforementioned ludmouthed drunks. go to the lighthorse tavern just one block away, but don't waste your time or money at iron monkey.
