I've been to Clinks since the 80's, and I think I've seen it all--I'd classify it as a laid back place, beautiful view (if you get a good seat), and food that can be creative or traditional. My husband has had their prime rib on several occasions and it's usually superb, but he has been disappointed in it on the weekdays (a time when restaurants aren't always geared up properly). The wait to get in and get a good seat on the weekend can be lengthy--even if you have a reservation. As to dress--a baseball cap and sneakers is pushing the bounds of casual--but we live in the west and are known for a sort of western chic--jeans, high-heeled boots for the ladies is common--jeans, boots and jacket common for the men. I've worn a skirt and I've worn the jeans and heels and been just as happy. It's that kind of restaurant--and it's a good thing it is. I love their food--it's always a treat--in fact, I'm going this Saturday--hmmm...what will I wear?
