We went to the Haunted House after seeing it portrayed as the most romantic restaurant in OKC. Unfortunately, the premises needs a great deal of maintenance, and the interior has a strong, unpleasant musty odor. The chairs were repaired with plastic red tape. Our hostess quickly brushed a large black bug off the cloth tablecloth on our table. Not an auspicious start for our 26th anniversary dinner. Anyway, we both ordered the filet mignon, a shrimp cocktail, a house and caesar salad. The food was very good, and the steaks were perfectly cooked. You should definitely request the `special steak sauce` on the side. It would be a shame to cover Prime beef with what tastes like A1. Desserts were also delicious and our waitress was excellent. This would be a top notch experience if they would just remodel, fumigate and deodorize the building. As it is today, it is far from the most romantic restaurant in OKC... Our tab, with a glass of wine and two desserts, was $125.
