As of May 31st, of some year up to and including 2007, this restaurant has closed its doors. Looking up at the top of the hotel, (which has been conveniently cropped from the picture on the hyatt regency home page), I'm convinced the entire once-revolving box has been dismantled. Either that or it spun off over the bay like a flying saucer, never to be seen again. I like to think that's what happened, because this landmark of weird San Francisco architecture has always held a place in my imagination. That, and BART. --Cheers.
