First of all, you used to many 1's to symbolize the potty mouth; and second, I went to this restaurant a few times in the past couple weeks, and the place has really come around (based upon what you are saying). I suggest that you give it another try, you don't know what you may be missing...- Is follow up to post by jlewis3711 ...
This is the email I sent to a friend after our exerience:
The Mad Italian on Friday was the worst service I have experienced for years, possibly in my life, slow doesn't come into it. You had to trip the waiters up as they rushed past to even get them to talk to you, and then they said OK and forgot about you for another 5 minutes until you accosted the next one and demanded attention. The food was mediocre. The only good thing was the beer, (guess they couldn't screw that up). At one time, 30 minutes into this ghastly experience after 2 beers, which we hijacked, and still no menu or properly bussed table we even thought of leaving money for the beers and going to the Chinese restaurant. But, being optimists we stuck it out thinking the food would be so good, bad move, we should have gone to the Chinese.
