My experiences with Pappadeaux's have been mediocre at best. Their food is typically soaked in too much butter or sauce and the sauces usually miss the mark for me. If you want upscale Cajun in Austin Texas go to Gumbo's. Pappadeaux's seems to be living more on it's location (on the interstate) than on it's food quality, I don't know that many local Austinites who are regulars as Pappadeaux's. Also, be prepared to wait for a table.
