Atmosphere was nice and service was excellent. However, the food menu was limited and the price doubled for Valentine's Day. It was rude that this restaurant didn't tell guests making reservations about the menu and prices. Furthermore, they added tables to pack more people into the restaurant, which killed anyone's hope of a nice cozy romatic dinner. I felt like I was having a date with both couples next to us. To tops things off, our booth was also unstable. When the people behind my husband leaned back, the booth would push on him. Fix your booths. The restaurant also didn't tell us the jazz band was starting after 7! Food: We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. The appetizer was stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat. It was artificial crabmeat! Yuck. I ate the scampi dish with lemon sauce which was very good. The ceasar salad was also great. On the other hand, my husband's lamb was terrible. He actually sent it back. We ended up stopping at McDonald's to get him a fish sandwhich. Overall, I was upset that restaurants try to pack as many people as they can into the restaurant. Consequently the quality of their food goes down, prices go up, the atmosphere is not personal, and they ruin everyone's night. What a mess!
