On vacation in Philly from England in June 2006, we were exhausted from walking round the city all day and `happened` on Brasserie Perrier at about 5.30 p.m. The bar was buzzing so the serving staff suggested the dining room. We were treated to some of the best food and service ever - and we've been to some very nice places in our time - and the fact that we were dressed as tourists rather than gussied up didn't matter one bit. I had the most delicious veal with baby arugula. And about a pound of fresh strawberries for dessert. Well worth every cent. highly recommended for when you deserve a special treat.
