As a Korean, Hanwoori DOES NOT represent good Korean food. I was there twice after the new ownership, and I DECIDED NOT TO GO THERE AGAIN. I had Korean BBQ (Kalbe) and seafood soup (HaeMutong). FIRST, the food was not good, but very expensive. If you really want some good Korean BBQ, sushi, or any other types of food go to Buford HWY, about 5 minutes away. The service was terrible both times. Waitress were suppose to cook the BBQ for you (at least all other restaurants do so), but that never happened. Basically I was never serviced after they dropped off my food. Every time I needed something, I had to ask at least 3 times, including the check. Water refill took 4 tries. I also ordered to-go item on my second visit, but left without it. After paying for my check and asking Waitress for it three times (about 20 minutes after), I just left without it. And NO the restaurant was not busy. To make it worse, during the middle of my dinner, two managers (one behind the sushi bar and one on the floor, maybe they were the owers???) were yelling and arguing with each other for about 5 minutes front of all customers. Whole restaurant was dead silent, listening to what they were arguing about…
