I don't think so, I am from England and I took my American Wife there to sample some fish and chips and they were not fresh fish nor fresh chips -- all were fried frozen and lacking in what I am used to in England -- Also you could not get Mushy peas, or gravy or curry except on Tuesdays -- I for one was quite unimpressed and my wife was as well, as she has experienced proper fish and chips in England --- we will not return and not recommend the British Pantry to those who would like to experience anything close --- by the way, the fish and chips at Red Robins come much closer to English Style -- and considerably less expensive --- Plus the service is quicker at Red Robins and Friendlier --- Is follow up to post by happy123 ...
The Fish & Chips are the best anywhere. My Mother-in-Law is from England, and she loves to eat here as it reminds her of 'home'. -- 5/8/2005 3:18:30 PM
