Not always the best choice for Albuquerque dining, Flying Star, the trendy, loud, often crowded cafe monopolizes the area. The place itself is hip, with free wifi and a relaxed atmosphere, however it holds some of the major problems of any bad restaurant. The staff can be very immature, the food runs out and is in very small portions. Also the food is over priced, for example, the staple flying star is based on, ice cream, is served in extremely small amounts now and 8 dollars for a little sandwich is outrageous. In my opinion, skip this cafe and head for another of many fantastic places that Albuquerque has to offer.
