I am a native of yuma. I was raised on bean and cheese burritos from Mr. G's and Chile Pepper. If there is only one taste of home it is Chile Pepper with gallons of their salsa. My immediate family no longer resides in Yuma, but my brother goes down occasionally and when he comes back with the loot, it is a free for all. Just a month ago my brother had one bean and cheese burrito left from his trip, I didn't know this until my mother presented me with a bean and cheese burrito after she had visited him. JOY! It didn't even matter that there wasn't any of their famous salsa. This establishment is a cultural icon, known to multiple generations of our family. ALL of our children have been raised w/ Mr. G's and or Chile Pepper. My only delimma is my son is now 5 months old and I have to make a trip to Yuma to get him familiar with the smells and tastes of home.
