We went to Iberia upon reaching Newark on 12-28-06. It's my friend's tradition along with sitting at the bar and eating a steak sandwich with a generous helping of fries for only $5.00!!! But you must sit at the bar for this deal. I ordered the red sangria, which was excellent. We went back New Years Eve and sat at a table, the first time my friend had sat there instead of the bar. We ordered entrees which were well prepared and were served generous portions. We had a pitcher of red sangria, again very good. We had dessert, I tried the key lime pie(it was very good) and had the Portuguese coffee which kept me warm the rest of the night! At the end of the night, we were served a lemon liquor as an after dinner drink on the house, again it was excellent. The men who waited on us were friendly and very accomodating. They started off our New Years Eve on a high note!!! Then off to Times Square we went!
