I went to TJ Ribs with two family members on 1/1/07 for lunch at 11:20 a.m. and the fun stopped there. We ordered two prime rib sandwiches and one beef brisket sandwich. After 10 minutes or so someone came and told us that the prime rib was not cooked at that time and did we want something else. Orders were changed to three beef brisket sandwiches. After another 15 minutes or so we received our orders but by this time it was time for us to depart to the BR airport for one of the diners to catch a flight to Atlanta. Because of diet and health restrictions I ordered my beef brisket sandwich on two bottom buns rather than the normal sesame seed top bun. The waitress told me that she had to swap out the bun in the kitchen for a po-boy bun since someone had put a sesame bun on top in spite of my order. I asked for to go boxes since we had to rush to the airport. The person catching the flight to Atlanta had to eat her sandwich and cole slaw in the back seat of my car. Needless to say this all did not sit too well with me. I complained to one of the managers on duty but she did not seemed too concerned about our predicament. I eat at TJ's several times a year but this incident will probably convince me to go to other restaurants and bypass TJ's.
