My friend and I go to Chinns maybe 4x a year. Sometimes for lunch or dinner. While there for dinner in Nov. 06 we ordered the Ahi tuna stirfry. To our amazement, it was NOTHING like what we had had at our previous lunch date. We complained to the manager and she said, `well, it's our dinner stirfry. It is different than our lunch.` BUT!!!! the description in the dinner menu read exactly as the lunch menu that was shown to us by the manager!!! How is that?? We were so dissappointed the way it was handled. Not to mention the dinner was nothing what we expected. I question if we will return anytime soon.- Is follow up to post by smcmills ...
I went to this restaurant because DineSite.com listed it as upscale. My date and I got dressed up and went. The place looks like you're going to pay $17 for 2 meals. The meal ended up being $80, my date and I were totally overdressed -- it's a total dump. I think they bought used tables when they build the restaurant. The food tasted like I should pay $17 for 2. Don't go here. This place is totally overrated. Go to Benehana, the Ram, or Tuscany which are right next door, all on Milwaukee. -- 8/14/2002 2:46:41 PM
