2.5 out of 5 stars: I ate here with my family when they were in town. We went on a Saturday night around 7:00pm, they said an 1.45hr to 2hr wait. We went back to the hotel, came back and it was only about 1.15 hrs so we got a drink at the bar and asked the host how much longer, they said right away, and took us to our table. The tables are SO close together you are constantly moving out of the servers way, which I found irritating. I felt like they just crammed way too many people in. After waiting so long, I was upset to be right by a serving station. Our server was decent but for such a famous and fancy restaurant he really didnt `wow` us. The food was good.. I had high expectations because it's just known as one of those amazing restaurant you have to go to. However, maybe it's just the way they are but I thought the stone crabs tasted like cold water. The dipping sauce was delicious but the crabs themselves tasted like nothing to me, and for 36$ I thought that was a waste. Our seafood platter or named something similar an arrangement of fried fish was delicious! We also go the calimari appetizer, they were good, but the curry dipping sauce was disgusting- who's bright idea was that?? Overall between the high prices, the long wait, and the fact that their signature dish is really nothing special - just skip it!
