It's our one year anniversary and so we go to the best place in town. Right? Whatever. We got shoved into a tiny two person table next to the wall and less than three feet away from two large tables where there was a business dinner in progress. The room was packed full--so much so, in fact, that my husband kept getting jostled by the patrons at the next table and I got my purse knocked off the back of the chair and stepped on (breaking my cell phone). Our quiet, lovely, romantic anniversary dinner was ruined by shoehorning us into a room where there was obviously a larger party going on and our waiter, who could not have given a *darn about the bad service, the business get together we were put into, and the fact that my food was already cold when it got to me. We would have been glad to wait any amount of time for a nicer table where we wouldn't have been stepped on. A very bad way to spend $100 for a meal. We will not be going back for our second anniversary. (edited)
