I was thrown out of this cafe for `studying` after purchasing an $8 sandwich. One bite of the sandwich and an employee came over wielding a sign came over and told me to put my papers away or leave. That's right-- I'd taken ONE bite from my sandwich. I don't feel singled-out because they were also throwing out a couple who had the temerity to read novels while eating their bagels and another woman who dared to write in a notebook.

This is a ridiculous policy and violates the dignity of the customers. I'm in my late 40's and probably old enough to be the parent of any person working in that cafe. To be treated that way is quite shocking.
