Having finally made it for brunch at the renowned Bookbinders, I very disappointed. The food was much too salty. The Snapper Soup was salty and a veal base was used which was not mentioned on the menu. There are vegetarians trusting that a fish soup only contains fish. The salad was chopped with seafood and much too salty. There was no plain salad to offer. The crab cake was tasty...but again, too salty. The top of the booth and behind it was dusty. What a waste of $65* as I treated a friend to brunch. [*That amount did not include the tip for very good service.] If the food is good, it doesn't have to be laden down with salt. Let the natural flavor be savored. Lansdowne, PA
