It sounds to me s if you were just mad at the fact it cost so much, next time stay at home. Also I have never heard of a place taking off the tab a persons meal and or drink because they were clumsy to spill it on themselves, get a life- Is follow up to post by fdtibayan ...
The food is not worth the price But, our party of 10, 2 people had hair on their plates. The coffee is drip, and is NOT a bottomless cup. The orange juice was made from over riped oranges. I could hardly find the lobster in my lobster omelette. My friend accidentally spilled a bloody mary on herself, and ended up going home. They were reluctant to remove her meal and drink from the bill but did when asked. And yes, I realize that this was not their fault, but it is just the polite thing to do, from my experience working as a waitress and going to restaurants. The service was SOOOOO slow and it was not that packed by any means. It took them 20 minutes to even take our drink order and another 30 or so for them to even bring us our drinks. The waiter actually came back after 20 minutes to ask us what we ordered! Even with 3 of the meals taken off and one of the drinks, it was still 51 dollars a person and totally not worth it. The food is not that good by any means and not worth 37 dollars for a set menu brunch not including tax and tip and drinks. It did come with desert, but I have had warm soft chocolate cake that was MUCH better at Michael Timothy's in Nashua New Hampshire, Main Street...much better food too!!! The cake at Top of the Hub was obviously from a mix and the chocolate was not that good. It was a complete waste of time and I will only return for drinks and ambiance, if that. Oh, the drinks were extremely strong...my cosmo was pure vodka and not mixed well at all. The view is nice, but you can get it two floors down at the sky walk observatory tower. The waiters were not all that nice to us either. I don't mind paying alot for good food good service, but you get neither at Top of the Hub. It is all a big hype!
