Friendly staff,good American food. Everything is great UNLESS you have a complaint. I had been going to Bowman's for about 30 years, and had three complaints about the food in that time. Each time was a hassel from the manager. Last time the shrimp smelled of amonia and the manager came to our table and said he had cooked the shrimp himself and asked me if I was calling him a liar. No more family dinners at Bowman's for us. He lost hundreds of dollars of revenue a year, all for a shrimp order.
