I was there last weekend...I also grew up going to Casa Bonita. It was still great!!! You don't go to Casa Bonita for a nice dinner in Denver. You go there for the atmospher and I thought it was clean, fun, and the staff did a great job.- Is follow up to post by hatetocook361 ...
I went to Casa Bonita as a child the food has always been bad, but now it is even worse. I don't think the place has been cleaned in many years. The amout of dust and cobwebs on the treesis appauling. I am suprised the health department has not shut this place down. There was a smell in the lower areas that can best be discribed as sewer back up. The staff seemed very distant. The arcade games did not work, the puppet show was so loud it was painful, and the animatronics were not working correctly,to the point they smelled like burning plastic. I was very sad that I had put my family through this very bad time. Instead of sharing a happy place with my family, I gave them a horror night. -- 5/27/2006 8:19:07 PM
