FYI, that is what blackened means...you probably should have ordered something else....

I probably will never go back to this restuarant. I went on my birthday(March 11, 2004 or 2005 - rather not remeber). I arrived in a limo, but by the taste of the food I would have come in style in a pinto. No celebs that I recognized. Environment was OK. I ordered the blackend shrimp (i think). It truly was the worst shrimp-anything I've had. It was so hard it was like chewing on gristle. I was there with my mom and my boyfriend. I couldn't even complain because I didn't want to ruin the well-planned out evening. Believe it or not I am a very very easy person to please. Maybe they were have a bad night, but my shrimp tasted like a few people sent it back and the kitchen reheated, burning it in the process, and slapped it on a plate with few days old rice. It really ruined my birthday, I was starved to the rest of the night due to the fact I had barely eaten any of the "sh*t on a plate" they served me. Sorry, but I will not be a returning customer and I don't recommend it for the food. -- 6/21/2006 3:49:02 PM
