Galileo Restaurant had service that was lacking in many areas both times that my party and I dined there. We were seated over 15 minutes after the times of our reservation. The waiter was inattentive and often times rude. The food was overpriced and overrated. The worst part of the dining experience came when I bit into a piece of glass or hard plastic while eating the chocolate pyramid for dessert. I removed the debris and showed the waitress. She simply replaced the dessert without once apologizing for the harm this may have caused me, nor did she ask the other people in my party if they wished to have their chocolate pyramid replaced with another dessert. I brought this to the attention of the manager, who simply said that `it is a busy week` and requested for me to return at another time when it was less busy. Needless to say, I was thoroughly disappointed in the service. Additionally, the food was average at best for such an expensive Italian restaurant. I am a regular restaurant-goer and I am pretty forgiving. I rarely write reviews but this experience left me with such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to post a review.
