If you like a restaurant that is grossly overpriced, patronizing, pretentious and not interested in satisfying the customer, then Hugo's is the place for you. The food, what there is of it -- I have flossed more from my teeth than was served me -- is notable for the sameness of taste and texture. The prix fixe menu is designed to satisfy the ego of the chef, not the diner. I question how much return business Hugo's does -- fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
