I am with Fred Pence. I have many great memories of the ribs on a piece of wax paper with nice slice of onion and rye bread. Nothing but the best. Big Shoe was biggest and gentlest man I ever met. In the mid 50's we seemed to end up having ribs every weekend. If my date never liked ribs she was history.- Is follow up to post by fred_pence ...
Fond memories of the smell of hickory and the best sauce ever. I remember going into Big Shoe with my Dad, as a little kid, and the place still had saw dust floors.
