I've eaten at Woo Lae Oak in Los Angeles a dozen times over the years, and I've eaten at the Virginia Woo Lae Oak 4 times in the last year, but tonight was the worst korean barbecue experience I've ever had. The food was bland and badly prepared (everything was cut too large to eat with chopsticks, but they gave no knives!); the service was horrid, and when we asked for a manager, a fake-manager came and basically told us that we were imagining things. Then, at check out, which required literally yelling for a server, the real manager came out, and showed no interest at all, other than to say, `you don't have to leave a tip.` I didn't. Don't eat here. If you want decent Korean barbecue, find a better place.
