AWESOME!! At first, we drove by and thought the outside seemed a little ominous. It was dark and there is a gate (you need to be buzzed in). As soon as you walk in, the patio is really neat - trees, soft lifting, low key. The food is great, all of it is vegetarian. Paru's is THE typical SOUTH indian restaurant. The indian restaurants most people are used to are North Indian ones.
Masala dosa, salty lassi, and badam halva are the best in town. Iddlis melt in your mouth. For such cuisine look also for Udupi restaurants. There is one in Cerritos, but it is not as good as Paru's.
