My girlfriend and I had dinner at Tivoli on 7/22/2006. We are in our early 20's, and based on reviews from this site we looked forward to a romantic dinner. From the moment we walked in the door we felt unwelcome and out of place. The wait staff was civil but it was obvious that they were not glad we were there, even though there were only about 5 dinner parties in the mostly empty restaurant. The food was average for what we would get at an upscale restaurant, but despite what this site says, there is not a single entree priced below $20. That price does not inculde some lettuce and radish pieces (the `tivoli salad`) which costs an extra $7.25 with your entree (this was an unwelcome surprise since the salad is included at most upscale restaurants). The bottom line: If you are looking for a romantic dinner on a saturday night, and you are under 60 years old, don't go to Tivoli.
