I ordered a sub for delivery. Foolishly, I ordered a tuna sub. Tuna is my favorite but I shouldn’t have ordered tuna from a sub shop that I've never seen or heard anything about. Regardless, my tuna sub was terrible. David’s has no selection of toppings, just the standard lettuce, tomato and onion. I asked for all of these but did not get any onions on my sub which irritated me more after I looked at the receipt and realized that I was charged extra for onions and wheat bread. When asked if I wanted “Mayo and Oil?” I said “Light mayo, no oil” then I asked if they had a vinaigrette and she stated that all they had was a red wine vinaigrette and they would put it on the side. I did get the salad dressing packet on the side, and it was covered in tomato sauce. My sub was absolutely SLATHERED in mayonnaise. I also asked for pickles and what I got was a big thick slice of pickle mashed into the tuna. There was far too much tuna on the sub and the lettuce and bread became very soggy, very quickly. The tuna also was made with big hunks of celery which the woman who took my order did not mention. I would compare this sub sandwich to something you would pick up pre-made at the grocery store. It tasted like a poorly made pre-made grocery store sub that had been sitting out all day. If I were to have anything good to say regarding David's it would be that the delivery was very quick however I do regret paying almost $9.00 dollars for a sub that I didn't even eat.
