Auto gratuity of 17 1/2% for party of 4 adults and 1 child??? This is insane! We went for dinner - 4 adults and 1 child. The service was terrible. We had to wait for everything a very long time, ask for plates to be cleared, water refills, bread, etc. and waited over a half hour for our check. All this on a Friday night with only 5 or so other tables filled. The food was all sub-par and the desserts were disgusting, frozen and not etible. The ridiculous thing was when we got our check, they added a 17 1/2 gratuity! I asked at the front desk if this was normal and they said that any bill over $150 gets the gratuity added to the bill. I asked if they stated this somewhere and they said `no that was just what we do`. I think this is insane! I can see if we were a large party as some restaurants will add 10% or 15% for parties of 8 or more but we were a small group and 17 1/2% for terrible service was ridiculous. They have really declined in service and quality over the years and that will be the very last time I ever go there! I can see why no one ever goes there anymore.
