I absolutly loved this place. I walked in, told them I wanted a seat for one and they seated me promptly. This is a place where you serve yourself, and if you want something, you simply spot a waitress and say `Hey, I want some miso soup,` They constantly refilled my water, the food belt was always being refilled and the food items on it were fresh and delicious. If you expect to come in and have someone wait on you, you'll need to look elsewhere; Genki Sushi is pretty much a self-serve place. And despite the hectic lunch hour, a person next to me was able to order and recieve his food quite quickly. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves sushi and a large selection to choose from. I give them a A++- Is follow up to post by girl45 ...
haha...genki sucks. maybe in some places the service is good (so i heard) but the thing that sucks with genki is that the back of the house does not make enough sushi during the lunch hours and whatever is on the belt it runs out so fast. sometimes the orders take so damn long to come out...so it technically is a waste of time and that you are full by the time the orders come out. -- 8/16/2005 7:00:06 AM
