We were disturbed by the fact that although the restuarant was for the most part empty, while we were seated at a window seat, an african american family was seated way in the back next to a noisy kitchen window on the way to the restrooms. They alone sat in that part of the dining area. The husband had to tell the wife to just 'forget about it' when she expressed that she was offended by their treatment. For this reason, we refuse to eat at Mi Piace's again, even though we live close to Old Town Pasadena. -- 4/15/1996
