I don't understand how the other reviewers leave such nasty comments. Maybe only the `rare` disappointed reviewer leaves comments on this board. Personally, on my 5th and certainly not the last, trip, I had such an amazing time. Odette Fada, the most charismatic and unsnobbish (humble) itlian chef (whose ACTUALLY from ITALY!!!) in New York City. Her skill of seafood even impressed one of my Japanese guests!! One of the waiters even spoke Japanese as well!! As a side note, I was thoroughly impressed with the fact that each time I visit San Domenico and meet Odette, the head chef, her chef's coat is stained and freshly dirty with delicious food. A sure sign that San Domenico serves food that SHE makes and invents. Not like other places where head chefs come in, just to meet and greet the `VIP` guests. In two words, simply amazing.
