I completely agree, although the food doesn't seem as appetizing as it used to-the drink size was insulting, a martini glass that looked smaller than a jigger for Nyquil! My family and friends have been customers for over 30 years now, and were completely shocked by the Maitre d's insistence that we leave so that he could seat another party. We were a party of seven having dinner, drinks, dessert, and tipping the strolling musicians. Needless to say we were quite insulted as well. I won't be going back, and neither will a lot of other people that I have recommended through the years. - Is follow up to post by a.reyes ...
Very good, home-style Mexican cuisine. A great place to go if you enjoy an early dinner but, apparently a victim of their own success. The drinks tend to be a bit expensive. On weekends, plan to arrive before 6pm. Otherwise, the crowd and noise not only makes the dark dining area uncomfortable, but also darkens the mood of the upstairs waiters. -- 6/4/2006 1:55:01 PM
