I first visited Joe T's 5 years ago and was impressed by the food, drinks, and the ambience. However, after several years I went back last month to visit this favorite spot. I had raved to family members that their 2 item menu was superb (I remember when they ONLY served fajitas or enchiladas and when both items were excellent), and about the atmosphere. I expected them to be crowded (as I remembered it usually being), however this time the line was ridiculous, the waitstaff was mediocre at best (it took us 10 minutes to get iced teas and 1 frozen margarita that tasted more like frozen lime juice). Additionally, the expanded menu was unimpressive, the food took forever, arrived cold, and the waiter neglected us for nearly our entire stay. To anyone who remembers the old Joe's I'm sorry--- the old Joe T's is no more.
