my husband and i went last friday early in the evening. there was only one other couple in the restaurant. when we came i about 545, the maitre d ignored us till i said excuse me and then he tried to seat us right next to the only other couple. i asked to sit farther away and we did although he didnt seem pleased. the maitre d poured us water after a while and when we asked for the evening specials,he told us the waiter does that. said waiter wasb having a lively conversation with the other couple. after waiting quite a bit for our waiter, he tore himself away to take our order, he left again and when my daughter and her friend joined us, he never came over or brought placesettings. when our food came it wasnt so good. myb alacarte salad was drenched in oil. my sole was good, but i was too annoyed to enjoy it. we will never go back. there are too many restaurants in phila. with better help and food!!!!!
