Empress of China rates with Chef Prez of New Orleans, Maison Blanc of Washinton DC, ` La Crillion` and George Cinq of Paris, all definite 5 star restuarants. There is no resturant in the US (Chinese cuisine) that prepares (with such meticulousness and exquisite taste) Mandarian Duck with exactitude of that I experienced when I lived in Hong kong, Beijing and Taipei) Their Plum Blossom wine which marinates the duck is supreme. Empress of China has been visited by every major dignitary (Presidents of the United States included) of the world. The atmosphere is crisp, clean and above all, there is a sense of history. I enjoyed my visit and intend to return shortly.
